Back in the saddle again

I had to do a sales trip to Scottsdale this week.
That is so not me.
I was reminded of this by the two other guys on my panel, who were sales guys. You know, back-slapping, flesh-pressing, charisma-oozing guys.
Me, I'm an introvert. While the sales guys were out drinking and carousing until 4 AM, I was in my hotel room reading Food in Roman Britain. And sleeping.
I got through my presentation okay, but I was far more comfortable answering questions one-on-one than talking for 10 minutes to 75 people.
Have to work through the 400 e-mails and update my neglected files now...
