A success, this time
Oct. 5th, 2006 01:42 pmI made it to the Cloisters this time 'round. It was an absolutely beautiful day - the rain last night cooled things down and cleaned them off. When I was wandering up the hill to the museum, it was in the high '60s and slightly breezy. Just fabulous.
albionwood, I took lots of pictures of the three 15th century French (or Lowlands) stools. From lots of angles. I bemused and amused the guard, I think. I accurately but misleadingly told him I have a woodworker friend. For good measure, I took some shots of the 15th c. Italian folding chairs that are the inspirations for the ones that
callistotoni and the curvy upstairs neighbor have.
Now to relax, read my book, and introvert before my last meeting in a couple hours. I have to leave for the airport around 6 AM tomorrow - ugh. Guess I'd better pack tonight.
What I'm reading: Glenda Larke, The Tainted
