Tomorrow is Investiture - an all-day affair. Sunday is rehearsal, also sucking up much of the day.
Today is my birthday, so I took yesterday and today off so that I could have a relaxing weekend. So far, so good.

Yesterday, the wife and I ran some errands for our condo conversion and had a nice lunch in the Mission. We also took Galen in for his yearly exam - no problems and the vet remarked on his nice coat and teeth. Unhappiest kitty in the world while he was in the travel box, though.

I drove over to Muir Woods this morning and went on a 4.5 mile hike. I got there a bit later than I would have preferred - this meant that I didn't have the trails to myself, but it was still nice. I saw the back 1/3 of a bobcat, many ravens and red-tailed hawks, and a few dogs. And then a pint at the Pelican before coming home.

Dinner out tonight with the wife; I'll post a review sometime afterwards.

LOL. Maybe you should start taking requests! I get up to SF so rarely for dinner that when I'm there I find myself going back to familiar places for fear of being disappointed by a new place. For example, is Citizen Cake really as good as people say (I've only had lunch there and it was just so-so.) What about Indigo--looks interesting, but I haven't had the chance to look into it. Also, I'm looking for a good Russian place--any recommendations?

I haven't been to Citizen Cake or Indigo, so I don't know. You might ask the curvy upstairs neighbor about a Russian place at Investiture...
