Nov. 17th, 2006 11:38 amI succumbed to temptation and utility, and bought an electric meat slicer. (Hey, it was on sale!) I have bacon to slice this weekend and doing it by hand produces inconsistent slices.
Last night, I tried the revised Garlic Sauce from a Resolution recipe a while back. The revised version listed there worked very well, except that I had to simmer the sauce for closer to ten minutes to thicken properly.
