madbakerI've been at work an hour, and I'm already done for the day. But I have to wait until pricing comes in this afternoon to leave. Much reading will ensue.
Thanksgiving was nice. It started with me going to bed around 8:30 PM Wednesday - I was feeling too drained to watch a movie after dinner - and (mostly) sleeping until 8:30 AM. I seldom get more than about seven hours of sleep due to my work/sleep schedule, so I was apparently due for some catching up.
Thanksgiving at the Curvy Upstairs Neighbor's Aunt & Uncle's Place was very nice. Point Richmond is a swanky area, their self-designed house is beautiful and large, and it was a gorgeous day. Plus the company was pleasant and the food was all tasty. The turkey was from the Curvy Upstairs Neighbor's Cousin's farm - incredibly juicy and yummy.

I am thankful that I have gainful employment that I (mostly) enjoy.
I am thankful for owning (part of) a house.
I am thankful for my friends.
I am thankful for the SCA, which allows an outlet for creativity that I don't get at work.
