My high school AP Physics teacher rode one to school and back everyday. Even in the rain. What a madman that guy was... wild hair and all.

I've ridden a pennyfarthing. Interesting machine, but I'm not sure that I would use for anything other than peddaling through a park (and never again in a parade)
