This week on Resolution Recipe-o-rama: Peanut Butter Squash Brownies.

2 cups peanut butter (I used 1 cup)
1 cup honey (I used 1/2 cup)
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggses
1 cup cooked butternut squash, pressed to remove excess liquid

Mix all. Empty into a lightly greased 9x9" pan. Bake at 350 for 25 (to 40 by my experience) minutes.

What worked: I'm not a huge fan of squash, so taking a healthy butternut and turning it into an unhealthy dessert is just fine by my lights. They were pretty good, although they didn't keep as well over a couple of days - they became gooier, where they were almost crunchy straight out of the oven.

What didn't: I reduced the peanut butter (because I didn't have two cups) and honey (because I thought it was sweet enough already). The center of the pan was still pretty squishy even after 35 minutes; I suspect that this would never completely cake up in this size pan, although the wife pressing out liquid as noted above helped immensely. Perhaps a series of small molds would work better.

I also think these would be even better with some chocolate chips thrown into the mixture.

Will I make it again? Probably, although not for a while, and generally where they will be eaten that day.
