St. Stan's Brewery in Modesto has apparently been sold, and is now a sports bar. They still brew beer there, but the new owners have "reformulated". Probably more towards mass-market blandness.
It wasn't a great restaurant, but it was convenient to the Twelfth Night hotel, had decent food and good beer, and they tolerated us rather well. Sigh.
I think the wife and I will find a restaurant somewhere within walking distance for Friday night - that way we get a bit of time together, which is fairly rare at TwelfthNightCon.

Date: 2007-01-04 04:45 am (UTC)http://www.galletto.biz/home.htm at 6:30 on Friday. If you'd like to join us, we can see if we can expand the rez. If not, I highly recommend Tresetti's (I think i spelled that right) They are walking distance from the hotel and have always been good in the past. We're dining *there* Sat night. :-)
