Today is the feast day for Saint Wulfric.
While he was never formally canonized, Wulfric was a very popular saint during the Middle Ages, and his tomb was visited by many pilgrims. He lived in a small cell at Haslebury Plucknett in Somerset, England. When a wren nested above his bed, he slept outside so she would not be disturbed.I'm expecting a rash of "Wulfric is nuts" jokes, so knock yourselves out.
When a squirrel used his wooden cup to store nuts, he made himself another one. You get the picture. Animals walked all over him.
