Semi-coherence
Apr. 23rd, 2007 07:56 amI am tired today. Also slightly sore from spending approximately four hours digging out hemlock at Ed Levin Park. It was a fun time, though - 26 people showed, and lots of chattage made the time go quickly. I started a short-but-rousing chorus of "I've been digging out the hemlock" to the tune of "I've been working on the railroad". Since there were so many Westermarkers there, we tossed around alternate ideas for PPFUF; I suggested "Populace Pulling Futilely Under Ferns" (hemlock tops are kind of ferny like carrots) and there were several better ones subsequently produced that I don't remember. When we stopped, the five-foot-high pile of uprooted hemlock and circles of ranger-sanctioned devastation were quite impressive.

We will need to make a plan to take care of this. I will simply print out a new one and send it to Anne.
