Worse: the same cat grooming my face with his tongue ten minutes later.

There must be something in the air, Zootie tried to hack up a hairball at 3:30, then at 3:45 ... and maybe again, I can't recall. Somewhere in there I just gave up. I tried to go back to sleep.
