Apr. 4th, 2008 08:09 amVery well...tell me about:
| I love The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. Well, most of it anyway - the hippie commune part was kind of stupid. If I had a DVD player that had a crack code, I'd instantly order the DVDs from Britain. Besides that, I like it for general comments on bureaucracy or corporate ineptitude. | |
| Chasing Amy, aside from being one of the worst first-date movies ever, is awesome. I love the beginning with Holden and Banky playing clueless white guys against the black rage of Hooper X. I tend to use it as a pseudo-clueless comment. | |
| At the time, this was the mask I was proudest of making; it was the third or fourth leather mask I made, but the first where I really took pains to have it come out well. I use it for most GSP entries. | |
| I've gotten into making charcuterie in the last few years, and when I split out those entries I wanted an icon specifically for it. Nothing Freudian here, move along please. | |
| And, in the light of this season... What? Just because the Giants are likely to suck big-time this season doesn't mean I'll stop being a fan. I've been a baseball fan since I was quite small, and a Giants fan in particular. The Dodgers suck. Beat L.A.! |

Date: 2008-04-04 03:58 pm (UTC)I obviously need new glasses. its much cooler as a mask.
DVDs from Elsewhere
Date: 2008-04-04 04:53 pm (UTC)They generally have a one-time setup feature where you tell them where you live (the US is 'Region 1'), and if you choose the UK, it'll set you up to watch nice DVD's from over there.
Not a bad $40 spent if you want to watch a lot of otherwise unavailable stuff.
