So I'm in the garage pulling out a wooden box full of feast gear, and the precariously-balanced tourney lumber tips over. No harm, no foul - but as I turn around to check its falling, the feastgear box falls off the shelf.

Hitting the concrete floor, and I hear the distinctive sound of pottery smashing.

Now, nothing that broke is irreplaceable - and one plate even survived - we had traded out of our handmade plates for just such an eventuality. We can buy replacement plates and goblets at Biordi in SF (an evil place, if you haven't been there) although it's more expensive than I'd like.

Not what I needed while packing up for Twelfth Night though!

F*ck!

Oh man, that stinks. And I can definitely sympathize -- the roommate and I just went to Smart & Final to get a couple of replacement oatmeal bowls, and guess who dropped the bag while walking into the house? D'oh!!!

I've never heard of Biordi -- I'll have to check that out! I haven't bought nice stuff yet, and if it's more easily replaced, that might be the way to go. Er, how expensive is expensive???

Donata is definitely going to be there, right? I bought one of those turban-y things from Black Swan, and I can't figure out how to wear it! Heeeeeeelp!!

Biordi Art Imports (http://www.biordi.com/) is a dangerous and evil place. It's also one of the places Juana and Ivar registered for wedding china (not that there's a connection, no, of course not...)
