Blue Valkyrie all the way. You know they have Gauntlet out for XBOX? There's one that's great for multiplayer and one that really suxxors.

wait, tell me which is which? I've played one all the way through a few times with friends, but I'm curious to know the differences.

Timothy thinks he may have, but can't remember for sure. We got a second hand Atari and so had a mish-mash of games; Pong, etc., but we were sans-Gauntlet. I think we "upgraded" to the Commodore 64 in '83-ish.

This wasn't the TV box, but a stand-up arcade game. The Atari 2600, which I had, was waaaaay too primitive for this.

Don't remember the color, actually, but we used to play it a lot at a friend's house. Several of our friends were Atari programmers in the old days; not sure if any of them worked on Gauntlet. Fun playing those games without quarters!
