Whatever. I don't believe this for a second! Why, I get up at 4am from a sound sleep in a warm bed to shamble to the kitchen in the dark to put out additional kibble because it gives me great JOY (JOY, I say) to do so. Not because some fuzzy creature compels me. Honest.
