I'm only happy when it rains

Or not. Last night I made a mental note to wear a raincoat today as the weather forecasts showed a 90% chance of rain.
Aaaand I remembered that as I was getting on the bus this morning. While I do have a small portable umbrella... if it rains as I'm going home I'm just going to get soaked.

What is the lesson, Grasshopper? Mental notes are worth the paper they are written on.
