Pho ga rhymes with foie gras

Since 1) I didn't bring a lunch today (why didn't I make a sandwich with house-cured pastrami? Oh well) and 2) my boss is on vacation, I walked the four blocks over from work.
Fud: It was just right today. Broth, chicken bits, yummy noodles, cilantro - not much else.
Price: Cheap.
Atmosphere: pretty crappy. What do you expect when entrees run $6?
Will I go back? I think so. It's cheap and a good comfort food, especially if I'm feeling under the weather.
I don't plan on reviewing all of them, but I will as I am inspired to do so. I'm up to 36 now.

Date: 2009-11-25 02:39 am (UTC)I just looked at the list and I've had only 5 items (Zuni chicken, Slanted Door shaking beef, RoliRoti porchetta, Incanto pig parts, Tadich sand dabs -- all totally excellent). In a few cases I've been to the restaurant (Jardinere, Absinthe, one or two others) but not had the thing on this list.
