I'm sitting on the upstairs neighbors' sofa, consoling a lonely and frantically purring cat on my lap. I'm a bit dazed as I work off the effects of the special brownies I baked last night: they contained a bit more of the special green stuff than I perhaps should have used. And anyway, I don't have it very often so I'm not accustomed to it like I was in my undergrad days...

Those Guittard mint chips pack a sugar wallop, all right.
