Yup. Reading. I cut back on novels when finishing up my PhD. LJ, facebook, and blogs crept in to fill the void. I justified it to myself with "they are smaller segments of text, so are good for short breaks when I need them" and conveniently ignored the fact that they often contain links one can click to keep one reading for hours...
