Galen found a new treat last night.
A carrot tip escaped from the cutting board. Galen found it, gnawed on it while batting it a bit, and then ate it completely while we tried not to watch and laugh. Did the thin bit trailing off the end remind him of a bug? It's not bad for him, but...

My cat Diva used to have cravings for oddities like bits of stone fruits (necatarines favorite), dill pickles, and dark chocolate*. Once when I was peeling potatoes she demanded peelings and ate several of them. She lived to be 21, with few health problems until the very end.

*Yes, I know chocolate is bad for cats and dogs. As I say, she lived to be 21. I don't give chocolate to cats unless they demand it (one, so far) and I never give it to dogs voluntarily.
