Our corporate web-sniffer now blocks LiveJournal. I can’t claim that access is required for my normal work duties (although it makes the day more interesting), so I’ll just have to read and update it less frequently, I guess.

I do find it a bit annoying that so many companies block a lot of things. I guess since you can't always count on employees doing the right thing, it makes sense, but it's a real shame for those hard-working folk who just want to take a quick break once in awhile.

Our corporate web-sniffer blocked LiveJournal today, too. Hey, maybe it's a conspiracy.

That's obnoxious.

I second the comments above.

Yes, I post in LJ at work. I also type 81 words a minute and can afford to take a break now and then without losing productivity.

*sigh*

So far, so good. I still have access.

WHEN, that is, our phone service and internet are not going down in the rain. Yes, the rain. How pathetic.

:)

I know it sucks...

...because my company blocks almost EVERYTHING. All the time. The good news is that I get no SPAM at work; the bad news is that when people forward links to me at work, I have to forward them home -- no point. At least I get (most) outside email...
