Two things recently surfaced that I would like to go to next year. Only one will actually happen, though. The exercise is left for the viewer.

One of four surviving 1217 "originals" of the Magna Carta at the Legion of Honor.

Sticking my nose six inches away from the Magna Carta? I'll probably tear up, just as I did when I saw an original Shakespeare First Folio in Austin.

I think that I was surprised it was so small. Something that monumental from a historic perspective should be much larger physically.

I remember not breathing much so I wouldn't fog up the glass. (Yeah, my face was really close to the glass.) It was really awesome to actually see one.
