Cat update
Oct. 20th, 2011 10:03 amGalen has apparently decided that I am his chief monkey. He now snoozes on my lap almost exclusively when we're watching a movie. I'm the chief groom-ee. And, while he clearly appreciates the services the other monkey provides (lap when mine isn't available, share of feeding, majority of litter box cleaning, majority of co-hunting) it doesn't seem to rank as highly in his little pea brain.
He's also been throwing up again. He threw up this morning, on the bed and on the wife's shoes. We've been straining out any leftover kitten dry food on the theory that it's too rich for his system now, and giving him much less dry food overall. Since he adores the crunchies this has backfired: when we started putting his dish of leftover crunchies on the kitchen counter to take it away, he decided it was okay to jump up onto the counter. Which he had never done before. He did it three times this morning - in front of me! - until I squirted him.

Date: 2011-10-22 04:50 pm (UTC)We don't use the canned air that often, but our cats take it seriously. If I show them that I'm holding a can, they'll generally decide what they were doing wasn't that fun anyway.
