Last week's Resolution Recipe, which I made last week but am just now getting around to posting: Banana-Infused Jameson.
"Viscous and a tad sweet, the drink skews a bit toward the desserty side, like a liquid version of bread pudding."
1 750 ml bottle Jameson Irish Whiskey
3 bananas, peeled and sliced
Place bananas and Jameson into a sealed container for three to four days. Strain out banana slices using a mesh strainer anddiscard eat them, they're yummy. The infusion should be slightly viscous and cloudy - this gives the drink its unique texture, body, and flavor. Pour infused Jameson back into container or bottle. Serve in a rocks glass with a single cube.
What worked: Certainly easy. Tasty.
What didn't: My bottle was 1000ml, so I'm doing it in three batches because I don't have big enough jars.
Will I make it again? Perhaps, when I've finished off this batch.
