madbakerShort version: went to the market as usual, relaxed about for a while, walked down to the Mission for Irish coffee (my birthday is also the anniversary of its invention in the US), dressed up for dinner with the wife at Quince.
Slightly expanded version: Quince totally deserves its stars. We'd been to the former location once and were impressed. This is larger, but still elegant and intimate. We had the tasting menu, and it was all well presented and very good.
