Failed Alarm

madbakerI forgot to set my alarm last night. So I overslept. Galen was no help in this regard - while he wanted me to get up and feed him, his usual method of persuasion is to sit on my chest, purring and grooming me. "I'm being cute! Give me what I want!"
Of course, when he does this I stay in bed longer to pet him. It's not very effective. I wouldn't want him to change it though; our previous cat's method was repeatedly jumping on our kidneys until we had to get up to use the bathroom. This is much nicer.
I'm working from home today, so I wasn't late to work.
