A bad day in the ballpark...

madbakerIs still better than a good day at work. I took yesterday off to go watch the Giants get shellacked with a friend. That wasn't great, but it was a beautiful day, the beer and garlic fries were tasty, and I got to catch up with aforementioned friend, who lives far enough away that I don't see her much.
Turns out she lurks here (Hi!) and so she was fairly familiar with what's been going on in my life. That feels a bit odd, but that is one of the reasons I write in this thing, and if I really cared about random people reading it I'd lock down more entries.
The only downside to yesterday? Galen likes garlic. I ate garlic fries. He spent much of the night washing my face.
What I'm reading: Eric Flint, 1634: The Galileo Affair
