Driving 4 miles through San Francisco last night, in the dark, wet, and holiday traffic, was quite possibly an outer level of hell. It took 20 minutes to drive one mile. Fortunately, we were meeting [livejournal.com profile] lifeofglamour and [livejournal.com profile] cathyn for dinner at Green Chile Kitchen. That made up for a lot - excellent food, chattage, and Mexican chocolate pecan pie to close. Oh, and five-pound bags of frozen Hatch green chiles to restock. Cathyn and I bragged on each other's skills to the Irish woman at the counter and boggled her with our tales of soapmaking, sausages, and metalworking. He got to show off a picture of the coronet. Much fun.

We had a great time! Next time maybe not on such a rainy night. :-)
But...the company more than made up for it!

I was thinking the same thing - may have to cobble together a recipe (and do a taste-test at the restaurant)!

It was quite good. Pecan pie (although not that sweet) with dark chocolate and cinnamon.
