I woke up early, took a while to get back to sleep, and then was deep in heavy REM when the alarm went off this morning. I've been in a bit of a fog ever since (despite two large cups of good coffee).

Nevertheless, bread is rising and a flat of San Marzanos has been skinned and is on the stove very slowly turning into paste. I think the Hatch green chile turkey sausages and the crabapple butter will wait until tomorrow, though.
