I just found out that an author I like, C.S. Friedman, cancelled her signing tour that was due to hit the West Coast next month.

She's never made it down here and I was looking forward to getting my copies signed. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to console myself by buying the new one.

Canceled? Argh! She never confirmed for my team that it was even happening.

She'll be in San Diego on October1-3 as the Guest of Honor of Conjecture (http://www.conjecture.org) if you want to get your books signed.

Somehow I don't think I'll make it, sadly.

I do hope to come out to the west coast, however I ran too short of time this summer and the next book needs to get finished, so I had to deny myself this one. Sorry!

*pouts* Darn... I am actually in the process of rereading The Coldfire Trilogy for the third time... Such is life I suppose.

Bummer. On the other hand, I'll wait for it to come out in paperback. I can't justify buying in HB ... (sigh, probably at least a year before it hits mass market PB)
