Mighty hunter, sort of

Well, this morning Galen caught the spider that yesterday I was trying in vain to point out to him.
He snapped it up. Decided he didn't like the taste and let it go. Then tried again (on the theory that the flavor might change with another bite, I suppose).
And let it go. So I smooshed it.
I'd say he's learned his lesson, but I doubt it. He'll probably go just as insane over the next spider he sees.

Date: 2004-06-18 07:24 am (UTC)Our cats chase moths (when they see 'em) and mosquito hawks (whatever they're really called), and chase and chase and chase, and when they stop moving they mew at us piteously ... something about the battery dying or something is all I can figure.
Max used to eat things he chased, these guys just like the chase.
