Feb. 2nd, 2018 08:35 amI had my semi-annual dental visit yesterday. My teeth are in good shape, which is a bit of a relief after last visit producing my first-ever cavity.
However.
There is apparently some significant gum recession on one of my back teeth. To the point that they're recommending looking at gum grafts.
This terrifies me slightly. Partly the surgery (I haven't had to undergo much) but even more so the recovery period. But I will investimagate and visit the periodontist to find out. It is undoubtedly better than losing the tooth.
But. Mildly terrifying.
