As far as I know there won't be an 8th (or 9th? I've lost track) Saluminati meeting this year. I just didn't feel like pushing it as usual this year. I also wanted to see if someone else would step up, or ask about it, or anything - and no one did. So resounding silence wins the day.

This doesn't mean the Saluminati are disbanding. Or that I'm rage-quitting or pouting and taking my toys elsewhere. Just that it's lapsing this year. Maybe the lack will inspire me and others to get back together next year.

I like the idea of doing it on an irregular schedule. If you do something every time, it can feel forced and cursory.
