So, I've been on vacation for the last week. I expect some chaos as I get back into the swing of things at work.

But I didn't expect a new keyboard, a new e-mail system, and entirely new logins!

The worst part of this (realistically, minor) issue is the keyboard. They took away my nice, friendly keyboard that made solid "thunks" whenever I typed. I now have a "more modern" one that has just enough different of a layout to screw me up. And the keys don't depress very far, so it's quieter I suppose - but I don't get the feeling that I'm actually typing.

Grumble. I'll stop now, as I have over 475 e-mails to start wading through.

Damn some people go to work early.
I don't even wake up at 6:15!

Okay, that stinks. That really REALLY stinks. What happens to people who have ergonomic setups? You're not supposed to just swap stuff like that!

And I'd been at work for 45 minutes when I posted that.

The joys of living on the West Coast and working on East Coast time.

Indeed. I much prefer the opposite...being on East Coast time in California. It's the only time I look like a morning person!

My client base is in TX, so I can understand your joys. Not to that extent but all the same. I am usually at my desk by 6:30.

Ta!

eck - now I am really worried about going back after weeks post surgery and all. It will be to a different position as well; I'm not certain if that will make it easier or harder.

I hate the quiet keyboards - I like that *thunk*! The electric typewriters we learned on in NYC middle school could be heard for a couple classrooms down the hall when we all got going up to speed.
