Change is BAD.
Jul. 19th, 2004 06:15 amSo, I've been on vacation for the last week. I expect some chaos as I get back into the swing of things at work.
But I didn't expect a new keyboard, a new e-mail system, and entirely new logins!
The worst part of this (realistically, minor) issue is the keyboard. They took away my nice, friendly keyboard that made solid "thunks" whenever I typed. I now have a "more modern" one that has just enough different of a layout to screw me up. And the keys don't depress very far, so it's quieter I suppose - but I don't get the feeling that I'm actually typing.
Grumble. I'll stop now, as I have over 475 e-mails to start wading through.

Date: 2004-07-19 09:20 am (UTC)I hate the quiet keyboards - I like that *thunk*! The electric typewriters we learned on in NYC middle school could be heard for a couple classrooms down the hall when we all got going up to speed.
