The periodontal appointment yesterday went as well as could be expected. As long as I do a massive amount of maintenance for the rest of my life, my gums won't get any worse and I won't need transplants. Dental cleaning every quarter rather than semi-annually, with occasional deep scraping that needs anaesthetic.

This sounds horrible, but I'm betting it's better than the transplants. I have to run very quickly just to stay in place.

Also yesterday I did something that torqued my knee a bit. Stairs are not my friend today.

Sympathy on the gums... I have to work extra hard to keep my teeth from deterioration. It's not fair, but it is what it is.
