Whee! In the Golden Stag production of The Jealous Baker this year, I will be playing...
Pulcinella, a baker.

No real surprise that this is the role I wanted. Woohoo!
(Please don't ruin it by pointing out that no one else auditioned for the role. Thanks.)

In other news, I was supposed to go elderberry-picking with the upstairs neighbors (and others) today. I bailed, partly because I'm feeling blah-ish, mostly because my ineffective-sunscreen-burn is more severe than I initially thought. I don't want to worsen it by spending several hours laboring in the Watsonville sun. Even with effective sunscreen.

Oh, is that why you didn't audition? <g> Want to be part of the brute squad again this year? (And you would have made a good Pulcinella ... if you'd auditioned I would have had to ponder a bit to decide which to give it to ...)

Actually, I didn't audition because I decided to be lazy this year. Maybe see what 12th Night is like WITHOUT having to perform. I think that I'll pass on the brute squad, also.
