PROTIP: when an egg rolls off the counter, do not try to catch it between your leg and the cupboard. Instead of having to clean up egg from the floor, you will have to clean up egg from the floor, pants, and cupboard.

A different egg from the same batch exploded all over the table this morning. Apparently the chickens need more calcium.

My old counters were tiled. I hated them, but I could put eggses on them without thought or fear of rolling off.

My new counter is quartz. I adore it, but learned the hard way that I never paid attention to how I set eggses on my counters.
