Porridge... FOR SCIENCE!
Mar. 3rd, 2019 01:34 pmThis week's Resolution Recipe: Overnight Oatmeal, Expeditiously.
1 cup steel-cut oats
2 1/2 cups to 3 cups water
Combine in the Instant PotTM. Close and set to porridge for 6 minutes. Allow a 6-8 minute cooldown before releasing.
What worked: I used 2 1/2 cups water; I like my oatmeal on the thicker side. This was just about perfect gloppitude for me.
This was four regular servings of overnight steel-cut oats made into tender oatmeal, but in 12 minutes.
What didn't: I was pretty happy with it.
Will I make it again? Sure.
