Galen suddenly started eating a lot more. He's up to almost a can of wet food per day. Along with as much dry food as he wants. This is a Good Thing: his intestinal lining is 5x thicker than normal, so he doesn't absorb as many nutrients from what he does eat. And he's always been a grazer rather than a gulper; we've had problems getting him to eat even before this developed.

He's drastically underweight as it is. (Probably 6-7 lbs when he should be 10-11.) Galen turns 17 next month, so anything that gives us more time with him is welcome.

It really was that sudden: one day roughly a week ago he started eating more and demanding more food. I don't know what flipped the switch but I hope it stays.
