madbakerThis week's bonus Resolution Recipe: A Moment of Silence.
1.5 oz rye
1 oz apricot liqueur
1/2 oz Averna Amaro
1/2 oz Angostura bitters (not a typo)
1/4 oz apple brandy
Fill a rocks glass with ice and rinse the ice with the brandy. Combine the remainder in a separate glass, add the ice, and stir until mixed and chilled.
What worked: It was pretty good.
What didn't: I'm not clear that the ice wash adds anything.
Will I make it again? It'll go into the cocktail book.
