All in all, a good day

ysabella_dolfin came over yesterday afternoon. We started a batch of bacon, smoked another, and sliced it up so that she went home with 4-5 lbs of freshly smoked, yummy bacon. She also draped the wife for an Italian dress. Lots of good chattage.

Then etaine_pommier stopped by for a drink, and the four of us ended up going out for a lovely dinner at a local Italian place.

I think I slept through the bacon cook-off on Sunday morning, but I heard you beat Dittmer. Awesome.

And I would like to learn to make bacon! Would you be willing to do another bacon day sometime? I can bring over my beautiful new Italian cookbooks too. :-)
