the absolute bestest toy

Like wyterayven and many another new-ish parent, we've bought lots of toys for our young one.

His favorite is, of course, the $1.29 pack of shoelaces from Walgreens.

"And it's an evil string-monster and I must kill it and I can carry it around the house and then chase it some more and put it down and wash it and..."

have you tried the thumb-sized furry mice that are often in a big bowl near the cash register of pet stores? Some have rattles in them also. big hit at our house. Also paper, tinfoil, and measuring tapes.
