Just a little bit more cooking sherry

Julia Child died in her sleep last night. She would have been 92 on Sunday.

Maybe I'll try cooking something French tonight in remembrance. I don't actually like the taste of sherry.

Edited to add: the wife suggested that her dad, who was a big fan, died a week earlier so he could already be waiting in line...

But death comes to us all and she lived a long full and lovely life, so instead of mourning, I am going to happily celebrate her life, her impact on the world, and her wonderful sense of humor.
