Just a little bit more cooking sherry

Julia Child died in her sleep last night. She would have been 92 on Sunday.

Maybe I'll try cooking something French tonight in remembrance. I don't actually like the taste of sherry.

Edited to add: the wife suggested that her dad, who was a big fan, died a week earlier so he could already be waiting in line...

I heard this on the radio this morning. Made me sad. I have fond memories of watching her cooking show when I was home sick as a kid.

This weekend cooking is not happening. But I too will try to make something special in her honor in the not-too-distant future.
