Just a little bit more cooking sherry

Julia Child died in her sleep last night. She would have been 92 on Sunday.

Maybe I'll try cooking something French tonight in remembrance. I don't actually like the taste of sherry.

Edited to add: the wife suggested that her dad, who was a big fan, died a week earlier so he could already be waiting in line...

Read her obit today. I had no idea that her involvement in the culinary arts didn't begin until middle age. That, and the fact that we share the same birthday, gives me hope that in about ten years I might actually be able to eventually make something decent^H^H^H^H^H^Hedible :)
