I don't go to see Disney animated movies in the theater, nor do I own any. It's a long-standing policy of mine, dating back to when I was a small child.

This deal makes that tougher.

The real question: is this going to be like Warren Buffett buying See's Candy, where the quality does not change? Or will it be like what many fear will happen with Hershey owning Scharffen Berger?

At least it may prevent Disney from making quickly-produced crappy direct-to-video sequels, which they had the right to do if Pixar had walked away. This way we don't have to suffer Toy Story III through VI, or World of Monsters Inc.
